So, you want to work in the sun this summer? what options are open to you? Maybe you just travel to your destination and hope for the best, you might possibly get a bar job, waiting on maybe?
If you are a good communicator then how about Timeshare Sales or a ticket tout ? Ok, maybe not! 
Ever been to your favourite destinations and received a promotion on your mobile phone? possibly, but 99% of the time the answer to this question is NO! Why?

Because Bluetooth Marketing is so NEW most businesses do not even know they can use it, even if they do they probably think it will be completely out of their price range, many, many European destinations have banned paper based flyering because of the litter legislation being imposed by most governments, if you really want to work abroad this summer and have a fantastic time doing it (as opposed to surviving) then seriously consider investing in an Ad-Pod as your summer business partner!

Here's a possible example of how it can be done!

You purchase one of our units, we would suggest the Ad-Pod with Antenna giving you extended range, we appreciate this is a further cost added to the holiday and accomodation but the aim here is to work the whole of the summer and actually come back in profit, you have to look at this as an investment, "most people will travel abroad with the good intentions of working the whole summer but unfortunately come back after spending all their money in 3 weeks)

The first thing you do when you get to your destination is search out all the promotions people and find out which businesses they are advertising (You then visit these businesses and tell them about the Bluetooth Service you are providing.

Most of these (Not all) will be completely open to what you are doing because the bottom line for them is they need New customers (period) they will be completely open to you promoting their (Club, Restaurant, Bar, Timeshare, Attraction, Go-Carts, whatever!)

You then have to work out how you will charge for your Bluetooth service, i would suggest an up front Artwork fee plus comission on every digital flyer that is brought to them by New customers, you have to advise them to provide a discount to the potential customer, eg, Show this Phone Message to us and receive 241 on your next drink! (They will probably be doing this anyway with other marketing material so it will be No big deal)

The other option is a Flat fee for every day you promote them, in most cases they will always initially choose the first option because it's less risk to them, (Very soon however due to the numbers you can produce, they probably would have wished they had chosen the Flat fee)

You then get their website address, go back to your hotel and design their advert, Go back to show them and make any necessary changes and away you go, you have your first customer!

What do i have to do whilst working? We hear you ask!

Well there is No reason you don't drink (As long as you are not driving and don't lose your Ad-Pod by getting too drunk)
Your work consists of visiting places that have lots of people having a wicked time, talking to them, having a laugh with them, telling them to accept your Bluetooth message on their phone when they receive it, and share it with all their mates, this really is as simple as it gets, you can complicate it if you wish but this in essence is what a Bluetooth Marketer is; (Walking into other people's Digital Space and informing them to Turn On Their Bluetooth because if they do they will get something good)

Imagination is the key to this, your main aim is to get as many people as you can using the business or Businesses you are promoting via the digital Flyer, how much money can this earn you (This is entirely up to you) As a guage, there are Bluetooth Marketing Companies in England charging 40p-70p per downloaded promotion, this will probably be too much for your small businesses, but a Nightclub? Who know's the choice is yours, you decide, your'e the boss!

Now there is probably one more question you are asking (this only applies to the people that for the life of them can not design an advert)
Two suggestions:

1. Ask a friend who can design to be your business partner and do it for you, this could quite easily take place with your friend back home, everywhere you decide to operate will probably have WiFi.

2. Why not ask the Ad-Pod Team to sort you out a Pre-paid advert design package before you leave, in this way you just have to email us with your requirements and we will produce the advert for you and email it straight back to you, alternatively you could tell the business you have contacted that your artwork department will email them and we will do this for you!

Either way we believe that Not having the Design skills should not be a hindrance to you successfully working in your Summer location of choice.
